Adding channels to the TV’s memory
When you press Channel yz, the TV will cycle through only the channels stored in the TVÕs channel memory. Use the steps below and on the next page to program channels into the TVÕs memory.
Programming channels automatically
The TV can automatically detect all active channels in your area and store them in its memory. After the TV has automatically stored all active channels, you can manually add or erase individual channels. If you use both
To automatically program channels into the TVÕs memory:
1.Press MENU, and then press x or • until the SET UP menu appears.
2.Press y or z until TV/CABLE is highlighted.
3.Press x or • to highlight TV (if you use an antenna) or CABLE (if you use cable).

5.Press x or • to start automatic channel programming. The TV automatically cycles through all of the channels (either TV or cable, depending on which you selected), and stores all active channels in its memory.
While the TV is cycling through the channels, the message ÒProgramming NowÑPlease WaitÓ appears.
6.When channel programming is complete, the message ÒCompletedÓ appears.
7.Press Channel yz to view the programmed channels.
