2HDMI Audio (Default : ON)

If you do not want to output the audio through HDMI (when you digitally output the audio through the COAXIAL DIGITAL AUDIO OUT jack to your audio system, etc.), you can set the HDMI audio output off.

Use [K / L] to select a setting, then press [ENTER].

• Set to “OFF” when the HDMI sound is not output.

3RGB Range (Default : Normal)

You can adjust the RGB range to make the dark areas of the HDMI images brighter.

Use [K / L] to select a setting, then press [ENTER].

Select “Enhanced“ if the black-white contrast is not clear.

This setting is effective only for HDMI RGB output.

4HDMI CEC (Default : OFF)

You can control all HDMI-CEC compatible components connected via HDMI cable by simple button operations of remote control of this unit.

In order to enable the function you need to set “HDMI CEC” to “ON”.

Use [K / L] to select a setting, then press [ENTER].

Functions available for the HDMI-CEC

One touch play

When the operations with following buttons of this unit’s remote control are performed, the TV will automatically turned on and switch to appropriate input channel.

Buttons for one touch play:

[TIMER PROG.], [SETUP], [INPUT SELECT ], [PLAY B], [TOP MENU], [MENU/LIST]

System information

Get & Set Menu Language: This unit recognizes the OSD language set for the TV and automatically set the same language as the player menu language (OSD menu language) for this unit.

Power off: When you turn the TV off, this unit and all equipment connected via HDMI will automatically turns off except during recording on the unit.

Receiving operational signal from TV’s remote control: You can operate this unit with TV’s remote control. Check your TV owner’s manual for details.

Note

This function may not work properly depending on the TV you are connecting.

The available operation may differ depends on the TV’s remote control you use.

Other components must be compatible with HDMI-CEC in order to use this function.
