For Standard Definition (SD), the picture resolution is 720 pixels × 576 lines, interlaced (576i). For High Definition (HD), the minimum picture resolution is 720 × 576, progressive (576p)6. Other HD formats are 1920 × 1080i and 1280 × 720p.

*UHF: Stands for "Ultra High Frequency", starts from 300 to 3000MHz corresponding to channels 13-69, including Bands IV and V.

*Y/PB/PR: Color difference signal, which is better than S-Video and Composite Video in terms of picture quality. Y, PB and PR are the standard video connectors found in HDTVs.
