4 Replacement Procedures 4.1 Overview
Screw Tightening Torque
Use the following torque when tightening screws.
CAUTION: Overtightening may damage screws or parts. Undertightening may allow
screws to loosen (and possibly fall out) causing a short circuit or other
damage.
NOTE: To tighten screws quickly and accurately, an electric screwdriver is
recommended.
M2 (2mm) 0.167 N·m (1.7 kgf·cm)
M2.5 (2.5mm) 0.294 N·m(3.0 kgf·cm)
M3 (3mm) 0.549 N·m(5.6 kgf·cm)
NOTE: The computer contains several flat head screws. These screws have less contact
area with the screwdriver, so be careful to press firmly enough to prevent the
screwdriver from slipping out and damaging the screw head.
