Playing MP3/WMA Files

You can play MP3/WMA files that have been recorded on a CD-R or CD-ROM on the DVD video player.

Preparations

• Make sure that a disc you want to play is compatible with this DVD video player. 47

Place a CD that contains MP3/WMA files

1 on the disc tray.

2 Press OPEN/CLOSE to load the disc.

Playback starts.

3 To stop playback, press STOP.

To pause playback

Press PAUSE/STEP during playback.

Selecting a track (file) in the disc

1Press SEARCH.

2Enter the track number to select a track you want to play.

3Press ENTER to begin playback of the selected track.

The current track being played is highlighted in green.

Notes

Letters of a file/folder name overflowing the given space are not displayed.

You can not play in Fast reverse or Fast forward during MP3/WMA playback.

Advanced playback

To resume normal playback, press the PLAY button.

Notes

Some discs may not permit this operation.

WMA tracks copy-protected cannot be played.

The OPTICAL or COAXIAL DIGITAL AUDIO OUT jack outputs MP3/WMA sounds in the linear PCM format regardless of the current “Digital Out” selection.

If you stop playback by pressing the STOP button, and then press the PLAY button, playback will start from the beginning of the track.

The SKIP 31 and PROGRAM 37 functions are also available.
