About the screen saver

If you pause a picture of a DVD video disc and leave it still for a long while, the screen saver of the player automatically appears (when “Screen Saver” is set to “On” 49 ). To turn off the screen saver, press the PLAY button on the main unit or remote control.

Automatic Power Off function

If the player is stopped, or the screen saver is engaged for approximately 20 minutes, the player will automatically turn itself off.

About the LCD

The color LCD is manufactured using extremely high precision technology, but even so may include certain pixels that do not operate properly (that do not light, that remain lit constantly, etc.). We do our best to keep the number of these defective pixels to a minimum, but please understand that they cannot be completely eliminated even with the most advanced manufacturing technologies available today.

The fluorescent tube which illuminates the panel from the inside will deteriorate with use. (The standard life length is about 10,000 hours of continuous use at normal temperature.) When the LCD becomes dim, flickers, or does not illuminate, contact your dealer for replacement.
