3Slide the PC Card eject switch to pop the PC card out on

the left side of your computer.

The PC Card ejects from the slot.

4Grasp the edges of the PC Card and slide it out of the

slot.

Some PC Cards are ready to use as soon as you install them.

Others, such as hard disk cards, network cards, and SCSI

adapters may need to be set up to work with your computer.

To set up your PC Card, refer to the documentation that came

with the card or refer to your operating system manual or

online help.

Using a Secure Digital (SD) card

Your computer supports the use of an SD™ media card.

Inserting an SD card

Important: Do not use the Copy Disk function for SD cards.

In order to copy data from one SD card to another, use the

following procedure:

1Format the target SD card in the same format as the source SD

card.

2Insert the source SD card.

Some discs run correctly but others do not. The disc will not come out of the drive when you click the eject button on the screen. Sound system problems You do not hear any sound from the computer. The modem is on, set up properly and still will not transmit or receive data. The Windows XP wireless management facility does not work. DVD operating problems A blank screen appears while watching a DVD-ROM movie or title.
