5Enter the user password, then click OK.

TOSHIBA PC Diagnostic Tool Utility

This utility can help diagnose problems with devices in your computer. Refer to the online Help documentation within the application for additional help.

NOTE	The TOSHIBA PC Diagnostic Tool may show tests for features you do
	not have. This is normal and does not indicate a problem.

To use the TOSHIBA PC Diagnostic Tool utility:

1Click Start, All Programs, Toshiba, Utilities, and then

PC Diagnostic Tool, or click the PC Diagnostic Tool icon in the Protect & Fix tab of TOSHIBA Assist.

The TOSHIBA PC Diagnostic Tool window appears.

2Click the Diagnostic Tool tab.

3Select the devices that you would like to test by clicking the check box that appears to the left of the device.

NOTE	Click the + (plus) and - (minus) symbols to expand and collapse the
	categories.

4Click Start Diagnostics when you are ready to begin the tests.

❖Get the most recent drivers from the manufacturer ❖Disable the device For an older device, remove it from the computer Memory problems Power and the batteries The battery appears not to power the computer for as long as it usually does Keyboard problems Nothing happens when you press the keys on the external keyboard Restart Display problems Here are some typical display problems and their solutions: The screen is blank If you are using an external monitor: ❖Check that the monitor is turned on 2Click Personalize, and then Display Settings Small bright dots appear on your TFT display
