¾External Port - This displays the external port, which the router opened for the application.

¾Protocol - This displays the protocol for the application.

¾Internal Port - This displays the Internal port, which the router opened for local host.

¾IP Address - The UPnP device that is currently accessing the router.

¾Status - This displays the status. Enabled means that the port is still active, Disabled means that the port is inactive.

4.5.5ALG

Choose menu “Forwarding ALG”, you can view and configure ALG (Application Layer Gateway) service in the screen (shown in Figure 4-29). Some special protocols such as FTP, H.323, SIP, PPTP and IPSec will work properly only when ALG service is enabled.

¾FTP ALG - Enable or disable FTP ALG. The default setting is enabled. It is recommended to keep the default setting if no special requirement.

¾H.323 ALG - Enable or disable H.323 ALG. The default setting is enabled. H.323 is used for various applications such as NetMeeting and VoIP.

¾PPTP ALG - Enable or disable PPTP ALG. The default setting is enabled. It is recommended to keep default if no special requirement.

¾IPSec ALG - Enable or disable IPSec ALG. The default setting is enabled. It is recommended to keep default if no special requirement.

4.6Security

Choose menu “Security”, you can see the submenus under the main menu: Firewall, IP Address Filtering, Domain Filtering, MAC Filtering, and Screen.
