9)To confirm a successful installation, open the SYSTEM icon in the Control Panel and bring up the Device Manager. Make sure a “1394 Bus Controller” is installed with no errors.

10)If there are errors with the “1394 Bus Controller”, delete the device from your control panel and restart. If errors still persist, try placing the FireWire card in a different PCI slot.
