Installation

1) Connect Your Surge Suppressor to Your AC Power Line

Plug the power cord into a utility outlet. The surge suppressor’s power cord should only be connected to a standard 3-wire grounded 120V AC 60 Hz outlet.

2) Connect AC Equipment to Your Surge Suppressor

Plug the AC power cords of your equipment into your surge suppressor. Do not use extension cords or adapters that eliminate the connection to ground. DO NOT OVERLOAD your surge suppressor. Each outlet can handle a load of up to 12A, but do not exceed a total load of more than 12A for all outlets. If the circuit breaker trips, outlets will cease to provide power. Reduce the load on the surge suppressor down to your unit’s amp rating by unplugging excess equipment, then depress the circuit breaker button to reset and restore power.
