PREPARATION

SETTING THE DAY AND TIME

The DTAM records the day and time of the call with each phone message. Follow these steps to set the current day and time.

NOTE: • Adjust Volume Slider on the right side of the DTAM to the desired listening level.

•If you do not complete each step within 8 seconds, the DTAM sounds four beeps, you must then start again from Step 1.

•To avoid having to reset the time if AC power is lost, we recommend you install a backup battery before you set the day and time.

1.Press and hold down time set button until the DTAM announces the day of the week.

Release the time set button.

2.Press or until

the DTAM announces the desired day of the week.

3.Press time set The DTAM announces the preset hour.

4.	Press	or		until the DTAM announces the desired
	hour.	time set The DTAM announces the preset minute.
5.	Press	time set The DTAM announces the preset minute.
6.	Hold down		or	until the DTAM announces the
	desired minute.
7.	Press	time set	to confirm the settings,		appears.
	The DTAM announces the day and time then beeps. disappears.
To check the current day/time at any time, press					time set
