Using your Answering System
The message counter displays the number of messages stored in memory. If the display flashes, then there are new messages waiting for you. The EXA3955 is designed to play your new messages first. After you play all your new messages, you can then play your old messages.

The system announces the number of new and old messages while the message counter displays only the number of new messages. The time and day that each message was received is announced after the message is played. The message counter will then display the number of current stored messages.
When all new messages have been played, you hear a beep. The system returns to standby.
2 After you have reviewed your new messages, you can
play your old messages by again pressing . Once you have listened to a new message, it then becomes an old message. The old messages will be played in the order in which they were received.
