Cordless Skype Dual Phone

Installation

This section covers both the initial installation of your Cordless Skype Dual Phone and expanding your system with additional handsets.

Initial Installation

Step One: Installing the Phone

1.Insert the USRobotics Installation CD-ROM into your computer’s CD-ROM or DVD drive. If the CD doesn’t start automatically, start it manually as follows:

A.Windows XP: Click Windows Start > My Computer.

Windows 2000: Click Windows Start > Settings > My Computer.

B.Double-click the CD drive.

C.Double-clicksetupwizard.exe.

2.Select your preferred language and click NEXT.

3.Select the first option on the installation menu.

If you need to install or update Skype, the first option is Install Skype. Otherwise, the first option is Install Phone.

Note:The installation program will not let you install the Cordless Skype Dual Phone software if Skype is not installed or needs to be updated.

The installation program leads you through all of the steps required to install the Cordless Skype Dual Phone for use with Skype. At the end of the phone installation process:

•The Cordless Skype Dual Phone icon appears in your system tray:
