Précautions importantes

•Cet appareil ne doit être réparé que par du personnel de service autorisé. Communiquer avec le service de réparations autorisé Viking le plus proche pour un examen, une répara- tion ou un réglage.

•Ne pas couvrir ni bloquer d'ouverture de l’appareil.

•Ne pas entreposer ni utiliser cet appareil à l’extérieur. Ne pas utiliser ce produit auprès de l’eau – comme par exemple près d’un évier de cuisine, dans un sous-sol humide, près d’une piscine ou dans d’autres endroits semblables.

•Ne pas immerger le cordon ou la fiche dans l’eau.

•Garder le cordon loin des surfaces chauffées.

•Ne pas laisser pendre le cordon de la table ou du comptoir.

•Voir les instructions pour le nettoyage de la surface de la porte à la page 36.

•Ne pas monter sur un évier.

•Ne pas emmagasiner directement sur la surface d'appareil quand l'appareil est dans l'opération.

•Des liquides tels que l’eau, le café ou le thé peuvent chauffer au-delà du point d’ébullition sans qu’aucun bouillonnement n’apparaisse. Ainsi, quand le contenant est retiré du four, il peut ne pas y avoir d’ébullition ou de bouillonnement appar- ents. IL PEUT EN RÉSULTER UN DÉBORDEMENT DES LIQ-

UIDES TRÈS CHAUDS LORSQU’UNE CUILLER OU UN AUTRE USTENSILE EST PLONGÉ DANS LE LIQUIDE.

Pour réduire le risque de blessures personnelles:

––Ne pas trop chauffer le liquide.

––Remuer le liquide avant de le chauffer et à mi-cuisson.

––Ne pas utiliser de contenants à bords droits et à goulot mince. Utiliser un bocal à large goulot.

––Après le chauffage, laisser reposer le contenant dans le four à micro-ondes pour au moins 20 secondes avant de le retirer.

––En plongeant une cuiller ou un autre ustensile dans le contenant, le faire très soigneusement.

•Nettoyer les ouvertures de ventilation et les filtres fréquem- ment — il ne faut paslaisser de la graisse s’accumuler sur les ouvertures de ventilation, la hotte ou les filtres à graisse.
