5.During installation of the scanner software, a message instructs you to connect the scanner to the computer.
Do not click the Finish button yet. Connect the scanner as described below and then, when the connections are complete, click Finish in this dialog box.
STEP 3: CONNECT THE SCANNER
Your Visioneer 9450 scanner connects to any available USB port.
Check your computer’s manual for the USB port locations.
Note: You do not have to shut off the power to your computer when connecting the scanner to a USB port.
