THE HANDSET DISPLAY

If the display says:	It means:
	The Handset is in idle mode

A telephone line has not been connected to the Base Unit. Or the line is out of service.

Indicates incoming call

Waiting for dial tone

Handset is in use

A parallel phone is in use
