Positioning the ApplianceHow to Drain Excess Water Fro m Hoses
Ifthe si nk is 1000 higher from the floor, the excesswater in hoses cannot be dr ained directly
intothe sink. It will be necessaryto drain excess water from hosesinto a bowl or suitable
containerth ati she ld outside and lower than the sink.

Connectthewater drainhose.The drain hosemust becorrectly fittedto avoidwater leaks.
Ensurethat thewater inlet hose is not kinked or squashed.
The followingthings should be checked before startingthe dishwasher.
Syphon Connection
Thewaste c onnection must be at a h eight of between 50 c m( minimum) and 100 cm (m aximum)
fromthe bottomof the dish. The waterdrain hoseshould be fixed by a hoseclip.

Extension Hose
Ifyou n eed a drain hose extension, m ake sure to use a simila r drain hose.
Itmust be no longer than4 metres; otherwise the cleaning effect of the dishwa sher could be reduced.

Connectthe cold water supplyhose to a threaded 3/4(inch) connector and make sure
thatit is fas tened tightly in place.
Ifthe water pipes are new or have notbeen used for an extended period of time, let the
waterrun to make sure that the water is clear.This p recautionis needed to avoid the
riskof the water inlet to be blocked and damage the appliance.
Thewater supply to the appliancecan alsobe connectedto the household hot water
line(such as, central system, heating system),as long as itdoes not exceed a
temperatureof 60 C. In this case, the wash cycle time will be shortened by about 15
minutesand the wash efficiency slightly reduced.
Theconnection must be made to the hot water line following the same procedures as
describedin thesectionfor theconnectionto thecoldwat er line.
Positionthe app liancei n the desired location. The back should rest against the wall behind it, and the sides,
alongthe adj acent cabinets or walls. The dishwasher i s equipped with water supply and drai nh oses that can
bepositioned either to the rightor the left sides to facilitate properi nstallation.
