Keep the kitchen well ventilated during the cleaning cycle to help get rid of normal heat, odors and smoke.
If the cleaning cycle doesn’t get the oven as clean as you ex- pected, the cycle may not have been long enough or you may not have prepared the oven properly. Wait at least10 minutes for the oven to reset the automatic timing, then reset the control for another cleaning cycle.
Clean the oven before it gets heavily soiled. Cleaning a very soiled oven takes longer and results in more smoke than usual.
To stop the cieanlng cycle at any tlme:
Turn the Oven Selector to OFF. When the oven temperature drops below 500°F (260°C) the Lock Lever can be moved to the COOK Position. Do not force it. Wait until it moves easily.
