Changing the Cooktop Light

PART

WHAT TO USE

Contlnuous- Warm soapy water or

Cleaning oven soapy scrubbing pad.

Heavy-duty aluminum foil or shallow pan.

HOW TO CLEAN

l Clean stubborn spots or stains. Rinse well wlth water.

l Place piece of foll or shallow pan, slightly larger than the cooktng container, on lower rack to catch splllovers.

l Do not use oommerolal cleaners.

Most tat spatters on Contlnuous-Cleaning porcelain lnterlor surface gradually reduce

to a presentably clean condltton during normal baklng or roasting opemtlons.

Standard oven

Warm soapy water or soapy steel wool pad.

Commercial oven cleaners.

Remove door for easier access.

Place newspaper on floor to protect floor surface.

Follow directions provlded wlth the oven cleaner.

Rinse well with clear water. Use in well ventilated room.

Do not allow commercial oven cleaner to contact the oven seals, thermostat or exterior surfaces of the range. Damage will occur.

Changing the Cooktop Light

The Top Llaht switch is located on the left side of the front control

1. Lift up the cooktop and discon- nect’ihe electrical blua to the backguard. Lower thecooktop.

2.Grasp each side of the back- guard and lift it straight up.

3.Turn backguard over. Remove the four sc:rews holding the back cover panel, then remove the cover.

4.Roll bottom of fluorescent tube away tram you until both ends can be removed from the recep tacles. Replace with a 20-watt cccl-white fluorescent tube.
