ElectricalRequirements
A120 volt,60 Hz., AC only, 15- or 20-amp, fused electrical
supply is required. A time-delay fuse orcircuit breaker is
recommended. It is recommended thata separate circuit
serving only this appliancebe provided.
This washer is equipped with a power supply cord havinga
3pronggrounding plug.
To minimize possible shock hazard, the cord must be
plugged into a mating, grounded 3-prong outlet, grounded
in accordance with local codesa nd ordinances. If a mating
outlet is not available, it is the personal responsibilityand
obligationof the cus tomer tohave the properly grounded
outlet installed bya qualified electrician.
If codes permit and a separate ground wire is used, itis
recommended that a qualified electrician determine that the
ground path is adequate.
Donot ground to a gas pipe.
Checkwi th a qualified electrician if youare not sure the
washer is properly grounded.
Donot have a fuse in the neutral or ground circuit.

This washer must be grounded. In the eventof a malfunction
or breakdown,grounding will reduce the risk of electr ical
shockby providing a path of least resistance for electric
current.This washer is equipped with a cord having an
equipment-groundingconductor and a grounding plug. The
plug mustbe plugged into an appropr iate outlet that is
properly installed and grounded in accordance with all local
codes and ordinances.
