5. Attach the cold water hose to the inlet valve labeled cold.
6. Screw on couplingby hand until it is seated on the washer.

Checkfor leaks

Turn on the waterfaucets and check for leaks. A small
amount of water might enter the washer.You will drain this in
alater step.
NOTE: Replace inlet hoses after 5yearsof use to reduce the
risk of hose failure. Record hoseinstall ation or replacement
dates for future reference.
Ifyou connect only one water hose, yo u must cap off the
remaining water inlet port.
Periodically inspect and replace hoses if bulges, kinks,
cuts, wear, orleaks are found.
Secure the DrainHose
1. Drape the power cord over the console.
2. Remove any cardboard used to move washer.
3. Fasten the drain hose tothe laundry tub leg or drain
standpipe with the beaded tie strap. See view A or B.
Ifthe washer faucets and the drain standpipe are recessed,
put the formed end of the drain hose into the standpipe.
Tightly wrap the tie strap aroundthe water inlet hoses and the
drain hose. See view C.
Level the Washer
Properlylevel your washer to avoid excessive noise and vibration.
1. Movethe washer to its final location.
2. Rockthe washer back and forth to check whetherall four feet
arestable and in firm contact with the floor.If the washer rocks,
yourmodel may be one that comes with 3 feet presetat the
factory.It will be necessary to adjust theright front foot to level
themachine. If all 4 feet were preset at the factory,minor
adjustmentsmay be needed to level the washeron your floor.
3. For machines with an adjustable right front foot,lower the right
front foot until it contacts thefloor. Using pliers, rotate the foot
up to an additional 1 ½ turns.
