Setting Up The CRW2100SX Drive

There are three stages to setting up your CRW2100SX drive.

●Installing a SCSI card

You will need to open the casing of your computer and insert a SCSI card (sold separately) if one has not been installed already.

nYou will need a Phillips screwdriver to open the casing of the computer and to secure the SCSI card in its slot.

nFor details about how to install the SCSI card, refer to the documentation that came with it and your computer.

●Connecting the drive

You will need to connect your CRW2100SX drive to your computer’s SCSI card using a SCSI cable. You will also need to connect the included power cable between the drive and an electrical outlet.

●Verifying the Hardware Installation

Before you can begin using your CRW2100SX drive, you need to verify that it has been installed and recognized correctly.
