mBeginning playback from a preferred title (for DVDs) or index number (for Video CDs/CDs)
For DVDs:
You can select any preferred title on the disc.
For Video CDs/CDs:
You can select any index number if the disc has index numbers.
1 Press TITLE/INDEX to select the title (index) search mode.
*“TITLE_ _” (or “INDEX_ _ _”) appears on the monitor screen.
*Every time TITLE/INDEX is pressed, the search mode changes as follows.

The search mode is turned off.
2 Enter the preferred title (or index) number with the numeric button(s).
* Playback begins from the selected number.
Note
For DVDs only:
Depending on the disc used, it may not be possible to perform this search operation.
How to use the numeric buttons to select a number
(Example)
•To select number 8. Press “8”.
•To select number 10
Press “+10” and “0” in succession.
•To select number 15
Press “+10” and “5” in succession.
•To select number 26.
Press “+10” twice, then press “6”.
