Avoid locations exposed to direct sunlight or other sources of heat. Also avoid locations subject to vibration, excessive dust, cold or moisture.
Do not attempt to clean the exterior with chemical solvents, as this may damage the finish. Clean with a soft, dry cloth.
Do not open the cabinet or attempt to make your own repairs or modifications to any part of the instrument. Such actions may not only result in electrical shock or damage, but will also void the product warranty. Refer all servicing to a qualified Yamaha service center.
When moving the instrument be sure to unplug the AC mains cord as well as all other connecting cables.
Avoid applying excessive force to switches and slide controls, dropping or rough handling. The DX27 is ruggedly constructed using reliable
Digital circuitry such as that used in the DX27 is sensitive to voltage spikes and surges. Because of this, the DX27 should be turned off and unplugged from the AC power outlet in the event of an electrical storm.
Digital circuitry is also sensitive to electromagnetic fields such as those produced by television sets, radio receivers, transmitters, transceivers, etc. The DX27 should be kept at least several feet from such sources in order to prevent possible random malfunctions.
