Listening to the music with a sound field effect

1 Play back a source. (For source playback, refer to pages 18 to 29.)

2 Press the PROGRAM button once or more so that the name of a desired program lights up on the sound field program indicator.

*Whenever you press the PROGRAM button, the program changes and is displayed as follows.

3 If desired, adjust the delay time and the output level of each speaker. (For details, refer to the corresponding descriptions on pages 35 to 36.)

Notes

cWhen HALL, ARENA, DISCO, STADIUM or MONO MOVIE is selected, no sound is heard from the center speaker.

cWhen a monaural sound source is played with PRO LOGIC, no sound is heard from the rear speakers.

cIf you play back a source not encoded with the Dolby Pro

Logic Surround when PRO LOGIC is selected, the source may not be played back normally.

cA sound field program and a karaoke mode cannot work simultaneously. If you press the KARAOKE button to select a karaoke mode, the sound field processor becomes unavailable. (The sound field program indicator on the display goes off.)

Reversely, if you select a sound field program by pressing the PROGRAM button once or more, the karaoke mode becomes unavailable.
