With the key removed and the spark plug lead disconnected, turn the clutch by hand until compression is

2 felt. This puts the valves in the closed position.

Increase the front tire pressure to

 

 

23 psi (160 kPa, 1.6 kgf/cm2) and

 

 

increase the rear tire pressure to

31 psi (217 kPa, 2.2 kgf/cm2).

Clean exterior of the utility car and

 

 

 

apply a rust inhibitor.

Cover the utility car with a breath-

 

 

able cover and store it in a dry,

 

 

well-ventilated area.

BATTERY

PREPARATION

1.Remove the battery from the utility car and store it in a cool, dry place that stays between 32˚F (0˚C) and 90˚F (30˚C).

2.Have the battery recharged every 60-90 days to keep it fully charged. The battery must be kept fully charged to avoid damage.

NOTE: BATTERY

Batteries like the one supplied with your car normally do not require you to check the water level inside the bat- tery for the one year warranty period provided by the manufacturer.
