2 Open the deck 1 or deck 2 cassette compartment by pressing the EJECT button.
3 Load a tape into the deck 1 or deck 2 cassette compartment, and close the lid panel completely by pressing the panel until it clicks.
*If you have loaded two tapes into both the cassette compartments, select either the tape 1 or tape 2 which you want to play back by pressing the TAPE 1/2 input selector button on the front panel or the TAPE 1/2 button on the remote control transmitter confirming it on the display.
4 Use the Dolby NR system by pressing the DOLBY NR button so that “ B” lights up on the display, if the tape has been recorded with Dolby noise reduction. If not so, set the DOLBY NR button so that “ B” does not light up.

5 If necessary, switch the reverse mode to the desired one by pressing the reverse MODE selector button so that the corresponding indicator lights up.
The reverse MODE selector button can be operated before or during playback, and changes tape playback as follows:

6 Press the play button on the remote control transmitter to listen to side A, or the play button for side B.
*When using the play button on the front panel:
Pressing the button once begins playback in the direction currently selected. Pressing the play button once more changes the tape running direction and begins playback.
*The play direction indicator on the display shows the currently selected tape direction.

Moves slowly in the current tape running direction during playback.
To stop playback
Press the stop button.
