Selects the source connected to the 6CH INPUT jacks. The source selected by pressing 6CH (INPUT) takes priority over the source selected with INPUT (or the input selector buttons on the remote control).
3INPUT selectorSelects the input source you want to listen to or watch.
4(INPUT) MODEShows information about the operational status of this unit.
7VOLUMEControls the output level of all audio channels. This does not affect the REC OUT level.
8SPEAKERS A/BTurn on or off the set of main speakers connected to the A and/or B terminals on the rear panel at each time its corresponding button is pressed.
9BASS EXTENSIONTurns on or off the BASS EXTENSION function at each time the button is pressed, this feature boosts the bass frequency of the left and right main channels by +6 dB (60 Hz) while maintaining overall tonal balance. This boost is useful if you do not use a subwoofer.
0PROCESSOR DIRECTSets the priority for the types of input signals (AUTO, DTS, ANALOG) to receive when one component is connected to two or more input jacks of this unit (see page 29). Priority cannot be set when 6CH INPUT is selected as the input source.
5Remote control sensorReceives signals from the remote control.
Turns on or off the PROCESSOR DIRECT function at each time the button is pressed. When this is on, BASS, TREBLE, and BASS EXTENSION are bypassed, eliminating any alteration of the original signal.
