Water Connection
The ice maker water supply tube must be connected a
a drinking water supply.
The water supply must have a water pressure within
the following limits:
Minimum pressure2.1 bars (30psi)
Maximum pressure 8.3 bars (120 psi)
The quality of the ice is dependent upon the water
quality. It is recommended that the ice maker water is
not softened. If the ice maker is connected to softened
water ensure the softener is maintained and working
correctly.
To connect the water supply:
1. Turn off the water supply and disconnect the
appliance from the power supply.
2. Remove the three retaining screws and bend the
black cover at the perforations.
3. Connect the water hose supplied to the water
supply connection.
4. Turn on the water supply and check all connec-
tions for leaks.
5. Pull the black cover and replace the three retain-
ing screws.
6. Plug in the appliance.
NOTE
Ice production will begin when the freezer
reaches normal operating temperature. See page 5
“Ice Maker” and “Water Dispenser”.
Air in the plumbing lines after installation may
cause the ice maker to cycle two or three times
before making a full tray of ice.
New plumbing may cause ice to be discoloured or
have poor flavour. Discard ice made during the
first 24 hours.
