
Water Connection
The ice maker water supply tube must be connected a a drinking water supply.
The water supply must have a water pressure within the following limits:
Minimum pressure 2.1 bars (30psi) Maximum pressure 8.3 bars (120 psi)
The quality of the ice is dependent upon the water quality. It is recommended that the ice maker water is not softened. If the ice maker is connected to softened water ensure the softener is maintained and working correctly.
To connect the water supply:
1.Turn off the water supply and disconnect the appliance from the power supply.
2.Remove the three retaining screws and bend the black cover at the perforations.
3.Connect the water hose supplied to the water supply connection.
4.Turn on the water supply and check all connec- tions for leaks.
5.Pull the black cover and replace the three retain- ing screws.
6.Plug in the appliance.
NOTE
•Ice production will begin when the freezer reaches normal operating temperature. See page 5 “Ice Maker” and “Water Dispenser”.
•Air in the plumbing lines after installation may cause the ice maker to cycle two or three times before making a full tray of ice.
•New plumbing may cause ice to be discoloured or have poor flavour. Discard ice made during the first 24 hours.
