Something Not Working ?
Some problems are due to lack of simple maintenance or oversights, which can be solved easily without calling out an engineer. If your appliance does not function correctly, please carry out the following checks before contacting your local Service Force Centre.
IMPORTANT: If you call out an engineer to a fault listed below, or to repair a fault caused by incorrect use or installation, a charge will be made, even if the appliance is under guarantee.

| Check the door light switch is not jammed. |

| The temperature in the fridge or freezer section is too | Check the thermostat is turned to the correct setting |

| Check the ambient temperature is within the |

| appliance’s operating limits of 16oC to 32oC. |

|
| Relocate the appliance if necessary. |

|
|
| The foods in the refrigerator are frozen | Is the temperature control set on high ? |
|
|

| The compressor runs continuously | Check the thermostat is turned to the correct setting |
|
|
| relative to ambient conditions. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
| Check the doors are closed properly. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
| Large quanitites of food have recently been placed |
|
|
| in the cabinet and / or door has been frequently |
|
|
| opened. |
|
|
|
|
|
| There is an unpleasant odour in the fridge | Check that air ventilation is not obstructed. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
| The food was not covered. |
|
|
|
|
|
| The freezer door will not open | Has the door just been opened ? If so leave for a |
|
| few minutes to allow the air pressure to equalise. |
|
If after the above checks there is still a fault call your local Service Force Centre.
