Cleaning the Media Path
Use a cleaning swab to remove debris, dust or crust that has built-up on the holders, guides and
media path surfaces .
1. Use the alcohol in the cleaning sw ab to soak the d ebris so that it b reaks up.
2. Wipe the ridges to remove accumulate d debris.
3. Wipe the insi de edges of both edge g uides to rem ove any bu ilt-up resi due.
4. Rotate and wipe the pinch roller. Use Cleaning t he Platen on page 42 to clean the platen
roller.
5. Wait one minute before closing the printer.
Discard the cleaning swab after use.
