TROUBLESHOOTING

PROBLEM

POSSIBLE CAUSE

Engine will not start:

1. No spark.

1. Check spark. Remove spark plug. Reattach

Engine starts, runs, and accelerates but will not idle:

Idle speed screw on carburetor needs adjustment.

Turn idle speed screw clockwise to increase idle speed. See Figure 31.
