7.Incline la unidad con cuidado y apóyela hacia arriba para obtener acceso por la parte inferior al material de montaje del pico y al motor. Retire los tres tornil- los con reborde que aseguran el pico de plástico negro a la caja inferior. Consulte la figura 5-6.

8.Incline la parte superior del pico de plástico negro hacia el motor para retirarlo.

9.Mediante una llave Allen de 3/16”, retire los tornillos de cabeza plana que sujetan la hoja de la cortadora al motor. Dichos tornillos son accesibles a través de la abertura que se creó cuando retiró el canal de la cortadora anteriormente. Vea la figura 5-7.

10.Es posible alcanzar las tuercas de los tornillos de cabeza plana desde la parte inferior, mediante una llave universal de 1/2 pulg. con extensión. Vea la figura 5-8.

11.Cambie o afile las hojas de la cortadora. Se puede afilar la cuchilla con un afilador o con una rueda de esmalte.

ADVERTENCIA: Cuando afile las hojas, protéjase las manos mediante el uso de guantes y siga el ángulo original de molido.

12.Para realizar el reensamblado siga los pasos anteriores en orden y manera inversos a la extrac ción.

NOTA: Ajuste los tornillos de la hoja con un par de torsión de 210- 250 in-lbs. Compruebe que se reensam- blen las hojas de la cortadora con el filo hacia arriba.

Almacenamiento Fuera de Tempo- rada

Almacenando el vacío de yarda en un cobertizo de almacenaje no ventilado o metálico, el cuidado debería ser tomado a inoxidable las superficies no pintadas. Usando un petróleo ligero o silicona, cubra el equipo, sobre todo cualquier primavera, portes, y cables.

Quite toda la suciedad del exterior de motor y equipo.

Siga recomendaciones de lubricación.

Consulte el manual del motor para conocer las instrucciones para el almacenamiento correcto del mismo.

Equipo de tienda en un área limpia, seca. No almacene en un área donde el equipo está presente que puede usar un piloto o tiene un componente que puede cree una chispa.
