4.3 Securing the Tub
WARNINGS
SECURING LEGS TO FLOOR
Protective eye wear MUST be worn when drilling to avoid possible eye injury.
DO NOT adjust height of legs more than 1 inch. The leg will disassemble from leg mounting pad and serious injury may occur.
1. | Set the tub in place. |
2. | Ensure the plumbing and electrical |
3. | Mark the locations of the anchor holes, using |
| mounting pads as a template. |

4. | Move the tub away from the mounting area. |
5. | Drill anchor holes in floor. Use |
| or a wood bit for wood floors. |
6. | Reposition the tub in the mounting area, aligning the holes in the leg |
| mounting pads with the holes drilled in STEP 4. |
4.4Leveling the Tub
1.Level the tub by adjusting the telescopic legs either up or down, using a wrench, to arrive at the desired height.
2.Check to make sure the tub is level by placing a level on the front and sides of the tub.
3.Repeat STEPS 1 and 2 until the tub is level.
4.Secure the legs to the floor using fasteners appropriate to the floor material and in keeping with local codes.
