Make sure the “signal path” between the transmitter and receiver(s) is unobstructed. You should always be able to visually locate the antenna of the trans- mitter at all times.

Operating Through Obstruction

DO NOT - Mount the transmitter on, or next to, metal such as beams, walls with metal studs, etc. This will “detune” the transmitter antenna which can result in loss of signal at the receiver.
