ASW 250, ASW 650 specifications

Boston Acoustics, a brand known for its quality audio products, has made significant waves in the world of subwoofers with models like the ASW 250 and ASW 650. Both subwoofers are designed to deliver powerful and precise bass, enhancing the overall audio experience in home theater systems and music playback.

Starting with the ASW 250, this subwoofer features a robust 10-inch polypropylene cone driver that is engineered for low-frequency response. This driver is paired with a built-in 150-watt RMS amplifier, allowing it to produce deep, resonant bass that can fill a room. One of the standout features of the ASW 250 is its adjustable low-pass crossover, which permits users to customize the subwoofer's integration with their main speakers. Additionally, the phase control switch helps ensure that the bass blends seamlessly with the other audio components, preventing any phase issues that can detract from audio quality.

On the other hand, the ASW 650 steps it up with a larger 12-inch driver and a more powerful 200-watt RMS amplifier. This model is designed to deliver an even more impactful bass response, making it ideal for those looking to enhance their home theater experience further. The ASW 650 also incorporates advanced technologies such as the BassTrac Circuitry, which prevents distortion at high volume levels, ensuring clean and controlled bass without any audible artifacts.

Both models offer flexible connectivity options, making them compatible with a variety of audio systems. They come equipped with line-level and speaker-level inputs, allowing for easy integration into existing setups. Moreover, the compact and stylish design of these subwoofers means they can fit into any decor while still providing the necessary acoustic performance.

In summary, the Boston Acoustics ASW 250 and ASW 650 subwoofers are excellent choices for audiophiles looking to enhance their sound systems. With their powerful drivers, robust amplifiers, and adjustable features, these subwoofers deliver deep and dynamic bass that brings music and movies to life. Whether you’re a casual listener or a dedicated music lover, the Boston Acoustics subwoofer lineup ensures a satisfying audio experience that embodies the essence of quality sound reproduction.
