Use of Serial Port

Control the projector with Telnet

This product allows you to control the projector by using the Telnet application. Normally, it is used to control the external equipment connected to the serial port and also control the projector itself by specifying the telnet port no.10000.

Specify port no. 10000 as the right on the serial port setting page. This function does not depend on other setting items.

In the setting of the computer, specify the port no. 10000 at the procedure 3 on the previous setting example page as the below.

Host name

: 192.168.0.2

 

(type a projector IP address)

Port

: 10000

Terminal type

: vt100

After established the communication, type the password and the command for controlling the projector and then enter the “Enter” key.

The right table shows the typical command lists for controlling our projectors and please consult your local dealer for further information of anoth- er commands.
