1.3.2 Turn on the computer

Because the battery is uncharged, when you turn on the computer

for first time, you have to connect the AC adaptor to your computer.

Note￿Use the power cord and AC adaptor that come with the computer. If one of them is damaged, do not use them but contact our customer service for help.

Caution: The wrong AC adaptor might damage your computer.

Instructions to connect the AC adaptor and turn on the computer￿

1.Place the computer on a flat and clean surface;

2.Connect the power cord to the AC adaptor;

3.Connect the AC adaptor’s DC output plug to the computer’s DC IN socket;

4.Plug the power cord into a live AC power that supports the voltage from 100 to 240volts and the frequency of either 50 or 60 hertz.

5.Open the display panel and press the power button to turn on the computer.

1.3.3Turn off the computer

Save and close all opened files and exit all the running applications. Click Start à Turn Off Computerà Turn Off.

The computer completes the turnoff process and shut down the power.
