2.1.6Set up low power protection:

Note￿If you do not save your data in time before the battery run out, while you have no related protection settings, you data will lose. So we suggest you to read the following instructions about setting up low power protection.

When the battery power is very low, the computer will notice you though sound. You should save all the data to the hard disk immediately and connect the AC adaptor to the computer.

If you cannot connect the adaptor to the computer, turn off the computer or let the computer enter hibernation mode.

Hint￿We strongly recommend you to complete the setting as follows:

Click Start à Control Panel à Performance and Maintenance à Power Options à Hibernation, choose Enable Hibernation, and click Applyto enable hibernation facility.

Click Start à Control Panel à Performance and Maintenance à Power Options à Alarms, choose “Activate low battery alarm when power level reaches -- 10%” and “Activate critical battery alarm when power level reaches -- 3%”, and then click Apply.
