Please note that ACU5501A-R4 is not compatible with earlier versions ACU5501A-R3 or ACU5501A-R2. Similarly, ACU5502A-R3 is not compatible with earlier version ACU5502A-R2. In practice this means that you must ensure that both ends of an extender pair (local and remote modules) are at the same revision level.
