Instrument Identification
The mainframe is identified by a
3140 The year and week of manufacture or last significant design change. Add 1960 to the first two digits to determine the year. For example, 31=1991, 32=1992, etc. The last two digits specify the week of the year (40 = the 40th week).
A The letter indicates the country of manufacture, where A = USA.
