CHARACTER SETS

This appendix gives tables of the printer’s standard and IBM character

sets.

The decimal character code of each character is shown in an inset to the lower right of the character.

The hexadecimal code can be found by reading the entries at the top and left edges of the table. For example, the character “A” is in column 4

and row 1, so its hexadecimal character code is 41. This is equivalent (4 x 16 + 1 = 65) to decimal 65, the number in the inset.

Control codes recognized by this printer are indicated by abbreviations inside pointed brackets < > .
