4 Switching on the Power

Switching on the Power

Here is the explanation of the normal method to put on the power of this PC unit.

IMPORTANT NOTE

•Once switching the PC power on, do not carry the PC or cause it to be shocked or vibrated in any way. It can cause a damage.

•Do not switch the PC power on while no unit is installed in the mobile multi-bay. It can cause a damage.

•If your PC is connected with a FDD unit and a floppy disk is set in it, eject it before switching the PC power on.

1Connect the AC adapter.

Connect the power cable to the AC adapter

(1)and insert the mini plug in the DC-IN connector on the PC (2). Then put the plug in a receptacle (3).

2Open the LCD display.

Press and unlock the front latch and lift the LCD display with hands.

Latch

3Switch the PC MAIN switch on.

This causes the PC power to be switched on and the POST (Power On Self Test) to start. Some indicators on the status indicator LCD go on.
