Set the guides so that there is a

7 little amount of clearance between the side edges and the guides. Load the document face down on the ADF paper chute and adjust the guides to the document size.

NOTE

•Squeeze the guide lever to free the guides.

•Load documents so that the thickness is less than 4mm.

• Set the guides so that they touch the document sides.
