3.Turn modem on. The modem must be set for Auto Answer and DCD (Data Carrier Detect) active. Refer to the modem manual for procedures.

4.Call the modem. The Password Screen is displayed when the connection is established.

5.Enter the Password. Any Superuser password (assigned at the Community Names Screen) is valid.

6.Press Return. The MRXI SNMP LOCAL MANAGEMENT screen is displayed (Figure 3-3).

7.Press Return. The Device/Port Information screen is displayed(Figure 3-4).

MRXI/LM is now ready for operation.
