Freecom FSG-3 Storage Gateway

Domain name server

The IP address of the DNS server the clients should

 

query. This should be the FSG-3 IP address or an other

 

DNS system.

IP address range

The range of IP addresses the DHCP server can use.

IP release time

The time between refreshing IP addresses given to

 

DHCP clients.

6.3.2 Dynamic DNS

Dynamic Domain Name System gives the ability to provide an official DNS name such as www.yourname.com to the dynamic IP address you have gotten from your ISP. You will need to register at one of the listed providers. Please see their websites for further details.

Service

Several different Service providers are supported. These

 

are dyndns.org, dtdns.com, no-ip.com. Register at the

 

website of one of the service providers and fill in the

 

required information

Host

This is the domain name you registered at the DDNS

 

service provider

Username

This is the username you registered at the DDNS service

 

provider

Password

This is the password you registered at the DDNS service

 

provider

Retype password

This is the password you registered at the DDNS service

 

provider again
