Caring for Discs

ƒVideodiscs contain high-density compressed data and require care when handling.

ƒHold the disc by the edges, and/or the hole in the center. Do not touch the disc surface.

ƒDo not bend or scratch the disc. Do not expose it to direct heat sources, such as sunlight.

ƒStore discs vertically in a cool dry place to avoid moisture and humidity.

ƒClean discs with a soft dry cloth. Wipe gently, from the center of a disc to its edge. Do not apply thinner, alcohol or sprays to discs.
