Disabled Mode
When Operation mode is set to Disabled, that particular port will be disabled. Check the “Apply the above settings to all serial ports” to apply this setting to the other port.
Accessible IP Settings
The NPort has an IP address based filtering method to control access to the NPort.
Accessible IP Settings allows you to add or remove “Legal” remote host IP addresses to prevent unauthorized access. Access to the NPort is controlled by IP address. That is, if a host’s IP address is in the accessible IP table, then the host will be allowed access to the NPort. You can allow one of the following cases by setting the parameter.
yOnly one host of specific IP address can access the NPort
Enter “IP address/255.255.255.255” (e.g., “192.168.1.1/255.255.255.255”).
yHosts on the specific subnet can access the NPort
Enter “IP address/255.255.255.0” (e.g., “192.168.1.0/255.255.255.0”).
yAny host can access the NPort
Disable this function. Refer to the following table for more details about the configuration example.
