Configuring NPort Administrator

Export Configuration

To export the configuration of an NPort 5400, right click on the NPort 5400, select Export Configuration, and then follow the onscreen instructions. The Export Configuration function is a handy tool that can be used to produce a text file containing the current configuration of a particular NPort 5400.

Import Configuration

The Import Configuration function is used to import an NPort 5400 configuration from a file into one or more of the same model NPort 5400. To import a configuration, first select the target servers, click the right mouse button, and then select Import Configuration. Follow the onscreen instructions to locate the configuration file and start downloading the file.
